Phuntsholing: 3rd Junior Series Tennis Tournament and Club Tournament Concluded



The 3rd Junior Series Tennis Tournament and Club Tournament were organized by the Phuntsholing Tennis Club under the supervision of Phuntsholing Sports Association from 31st March to 9th April 2023. The event was sponsored by Jachung Security Services (JSS) and attracted participants from different age groups and skill levels.

Junior Series Tennis Tournament:

The Junior Series Tennis Tournament was held from 31st March to 9th April 2023, and it saw the participation of 20 young tennis enthusiasts from Phuntsholing. The participants were divided into different age categories, namely U10, U12, U14, and U16. The matches were played in a knockout format, and the top two players from each category qualified for the semifinals.

The tournament witnessed some exciting matches, and the players displayed their skills and talent on the court. The matches were closely contested, and the winners had to work hard to secure their victories. In the end, the winners of the different age categories were awarded prizes and certificates by the organizers.

Club Tournament:

The Club Tournament was held from 31st March to 9th April 2023, and it saw the participation of 10 players from the Phuntsholing Tennis Club. The tournament was for men's singles. The matches were played in a round-robin format, and the top two player qualified for the semifinals.

The matches in the Club Tournament were also closely contested, and the players displayed their skills and competitive spirit on the court. The organizers ensured that the matches were conducted in a fair and transparent manner, and the players followed the rules and regulations of the game.
